What makes the MODAXE OBD different from other scanners?

The MODAXE OBD supports up to 12 OBD protocols compared to 9 on standard ELM327 devices. It also supports 12V and 24V vehicles, while ELM327 devices are limited to 12V only. The firmware is more recent, and the device offers greater stability during extended real-time data sessions.

Which app should I use with the MODAXE OBD?

We recommend Car Scanner for both Android and iOS. It also works with Torque, OBD Doctor, and most other standard OBD-II apps. Note: Torque is Android only.

Does it work on BS6 bikes?

Yes, with a separate OBD cable adapter for BS6 motorcycles, available separately on our website. Compatibility varies by bike model — contact us to confirm before purchasing.

Can it scan Airbag, ABS, or DPF faults?

Are the OBD II devices compatible with all models

What is the difference between the ELM327 and MODAXE OBD?

The ELM327 devices support up to 9 protocols, while the MODAXE OBD supports up to 12 protocols. Additionally, ELM327 devices are compatible only with 12V vehicles, whereas MODAXE OBD supports vehicles up to 24V. MODAXE OBD is much more durable and stable than the ELM327 and has the latest firmware version
